When Joanne Santos and Caroline Grainger founded Grainger Legal, it was not part of their initial business plan to include conveyancing as a service. Their background is in personal injury litigation and compensation claims, not with transfer of property.

But after opening a law office at 13 Hargraves Street, Castlemaine they were frequently asked to do Castlemaine conveyancing transactions for their clients. It seems that buying, selling and subdividing property in Castlemaine and surrounds is a bit of a local passion! So they turned to a colleague that they had previously worked with at a big city law firm, Sherilyn Tuck and asked her to come on board to start a dedicated conveyancing business, Casa Conveyancing, a business complementary to Grainger Legal. Sherilyn comes with many years’ experience in the conveyancing field and has a huge amount of empathy for the myriad of emotions that people experience when parting with, or gaining, property. She’s available to answer questions, calm nerves, and get the job done efficiently whilst ensuring to keep you informed of the process as much or as little as you desire along the way.
